Design and Manufacture of Moulds and Tooling
The mould manufacturing department has specialized over the last years in manufacturing moulds, such as block, bending, progressive and drawing ones, through sheet metal cold forming.
Farina Adriano is able to design and manufacture punching moulds for the cleaning of aluminium and magnesium castings.
Starting from technical specifications made by our customers, moulds are optimized and customized according to the pertinent production cycle, ensuring the highest productivity over time. Prior to delivery, each mould gets tested on site or, upon customer’s request, is kept inside the firm for the related mass production.
Our company tooling includes wire-cut electrical discharge machines, vertical machining centres, micro-drilling and tangential grinding machines for the manufacture of machinery items up to 2000 x 1000 mm apiece.
Moreover, we specialize in manufacturing machinery for high-strength steel forming (S420MC, S600MC, S700MC) for the automotive industry.
Upon customer’s request, the firm issues certificates for the heat treatments carried out and the materials used to manufacture moulds.
Apart from manufacturing new equipment, Farina Adriano carries out assistance and maintenance service on pre-existing moulds as well.
